About Rachael
As a student I take pride in my ability to help my fellow peers, I take joy in helping someone understand a topic and this is the main reason why I decided to become a tutor in the first place. I have many qualities that allow me to effectively communicate with fellow students such as patience and the ability to adapt my explanations for people that learn in various ways. I can inspire confidence and support for all of my students and will make sure our time together is effective and meaningful.

My teaching methods tend to be very verbal with a lot of explanations done through talking rather than assigning work or reading. This allows me to properly connect with the student and is my preferred methodology of teaching.
My lessons tend to be very flexible with time depending on the content we choose to focus on (normally ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours). As I mainly tutor high school students or younger, our lessons can cover a multitude of different subjects considering the environment of schools.
I already tutor at my current school here in Christchurch and have been doing so for 3 years now. I have the experience and attitude to help you achieve your goals as a student!
