About Trey
Hi, my name is Trey and I would love to support you in developing your confidence in whatever subject you are hoping to improve in. I am a Northwestern undergrad majoring in both Biology and Psychology, so I am consistently taking classes in both those subjects. During my time in high school I took AP Bio, Chem, Calculus BC and a bunch of others. I also took the SAT and earned a 1570 after only a few months of studying - so I have strategies on how to increase your score in a short time span when needed. I am super flexible and open to communication and answering questions whenever is needed - that way you can get support whenever you need it!

I know it can be challenging to figure out where to start brushing up on content, so often at the start of a lesson I will look at what areas and concepts we may want to target to increase understanding as efficiently as possible. A typical lesson with me looks like doing practice problems, talking through confusion and ensuring you feel confident as we are taking steps to understand what we are working on. One thing I make sure to do is give additional practice work that can be done outside of our tutoring session - that way you can keep practicing the skills we worked on after we sign off. I am very familiar with the digital SAT form so I'm very comfortable supporting students in increasing their scores. I preferably tutor high school and college students, but am very open to helping younger students in any core classes.
