About Federica
I am a recent graduate in English and Russian, specializing in Slavic Studies. At the moment I am acquiring the necessary skills in the psycho-pedagogical field to start teaching at school.
My main academic interests are foreign literature (in particular Russian) and translation, which is the subject of my Master's thesis. During my academic career I have acquired excellent organizational skills and a good method for an effective study, which I believe can be helpful for my students as well.

My teaching method is based on the stimulation of curiosity. Learning a language means learning another culture and an another way of thinking, to get out of one's own schemes, to embrace and know the world and its diversity with an open mind!
My methodology involves all aspects of language learning: written and oral comprehension, written and oral production, vocabulary, insight into the culture and traditions of the country where the language is spoken.
During my academic years of learning languages I was able to personally experience which teaching methodologies are effective and which are discouraging for students. My teaching approach is well structured, dynamic and specific for every student, because it is focused on each individual needs and capacities. My aim is to constantly stimulate knowledge and curiosity about different cultures, and to allow my students to acquire good autonomy and an effective studying habit.
