Currently in my third year of University, I have gained valuable experience in communication, problem-solving, and adaptability through my work in retail and hospitality. Are you looking for extra support in English Language, English Literature, or Classical Civilisation at GCSE or A-level? I offer personalised tutoring to help students build confidence, refine exam technique, and create effective revision notes tailored to their learning style. My approach focuses on helping students fully understand their subject, while also ensuring they know how to apply their knowledge in an exam setting. We’ll work on analysing texts and sources in depth, as well as developing the appropriate writing styles and techniques, and revision strategies for each individual to ensure they feel fully prepared. Lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed around what each student needs—whether that’s tackling tricky essay questions, developing stronger arguments or just getting to grips with key themes and contexts. I typically offer 1 hour lessons, either online or in person [if applicable], and can adapt to different learning preferences to make sessions as effective as possible. I achieved a 9 in Classical Civilisation GCSE and B at A-Levels, alongside 7s in both English Literature and Language GCSEs and an A in English Literature at A-Level. Beyond my grades, I have a genuine passion for both subjects and a deep interest in studying and discussing them. I am committed to helping students build their confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential.
