About Tommy
I am a professional Rubik’s Cube coach with extensive experience teaching students from around the world. As a 14-time World Record holder and champion at the World, Continental, and National level, I bring not only elite competitive knowledge but also a strong passion for sharing the craft with others through a personalized teaching approach. I pride myself on being reliable, positive, and respectful of each student’s time and goals. My lessons are adapted to the student’s circumstances, ensuring steady progress in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you are learning to solve a cube for your first time or refining advanced techniques, I provide clear guidance, honest feedback, and a professional coaching experience you can trust.

My approach as a tutor is structured, patient, and highly personalized. I start by understanding each student’s goals, current skill level, and learning style, then tailor explanations and practice accordingly. I focus on helping you build strong fundamentals, efficient problem-solving habits, and a strong passion to learn more.
A typical lesson includes a brief discussion of where the student is at currently, quick assessment, clear explanation of new concepts or techniques, guided practice, and recommendation of specific drills or homework to reinforce progress between sessions. I use interactive demonstrations, step-by-step breakdowns, and share real experiences from my 10+ years as a competitive speedcuber to make ideas intuitive and memorable.
What sets me apart is my experience as a world-class competitor and coach, combined with a strong ability to explain complex ideas simply and logically. My lessons are for anyone interested in Rubik’s Cubes or similar puzzles—from complete beginners to advanced speedcubers—across all ages and goals, whether for casual solving or competitive improvement.
