About Sarah
Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a recent graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester achieving a high 2:1 degree. I began playing the violin at the age of 4 and have been performing nationally and internationally ever since, playing a variety of genres and styles including classical, pop, and folk.
Chamber and orchestral playing have been a large part of my musical experience. Tours of Malta, Italy and Spain have been particular highlights where I have performed as a soloist, a chamber musician or as orchestra concertmaster.

Everybody has the potential to learn a musical instrument. Although following broadly the same structure, my lessons are catered very much to the individual's abilities, needs and interests, ensuring maximum benefit and most importantly enjoyment of their musical journey.
Each lesson will establish and build good technique and habits right from the outset. Practise guidance and goal setting is also part of my teaching strategy.
At our first meeting we will discuss what your priorities are and set goals together.
I can help you prepare for exams if required (ABRSM and Guildhall etc.).
