About Alastair
I graduated with an MA in Photography from The Royal College of Art in 2008. I have since worked as a freelance photographer shooting portraits for clients such as The Financial Times, The Telegraph and The Guardian. I have taught photography for many years and have held posts at Cambridge School of Art amongst other places. I am also a practising artist and have exhibited my work in galleries across the UK and internationally. I am based in Kentish Town, North London.

Having worked as a professional photographer and educator for over 20 years, I have in-depth knowledge of the subject to pass on to my students. My teaching style is relaxed and engaging and can be tailored to all levels of experience. My lessons are focused on creative and technical development in relation to both shooting and post-production/editing. Sessions are generally 1 to 2 hours in length but longer lessons can be booked if required. I currently teach A-Level and GCSE students at a sixth form college in central London.
