About Gabriel
I am a classically trained pianist and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, where I earned my Master’s degree in Composition. With over seven years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of guiding students of all ages—from 7 to 60—in piano, music theory, and composition. My passion for sharing my knowledge and love for music has led to a track record of inspiring students to reach their goals, with a 100% success rate in ABRSM exams and many happy students I have had the pleasure of teaching for years. In addition to my teaching experience, I am an accomplished composer and performer, having won several international composition competitions and collaborated with some of Europe’s leading contemporary music ensembles. My educational background includes a Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music, a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of York and Helsinki Academy, and I am an alumnus of the Purcell School for Young Musicians. I also hold Grade 8 ABRSM qualifications in both piano and music theory. Whether you're a young beginner or an adult learner, I am committed to making each lesson engaging and rewarding, helping you develop not only technical skill but also a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching approach is dedicated to nurturing both self-esteem and a deep passion for music in each student. I provide a rigorous conservatoire-level education, advancing students from beginners up to Grade 8 and beyond, while maintaining a relaxed and compassionate learning environment tailored to their individual needs. This balance allows students to achieve their highest potential while enjoying the process. My lifelong love for the piano, which began in my own childhood, drives me to make every lesson both fun and engaging, ensuring that students not only master their skills but also develop a genuine enthusiasm for music.

Perfect! I’ve been taking piano lessons with Gabriel since 2022. As an adult learner, I was initially hesitant in my ability to pick up a new instrument. However, Gabriel’s approach to teaching has completely changed my perspective.
Gabriel has a rare combination of patience, skill, and encouragement. His ability to break down complex concepts into manageable parts has been incredibly helpful, allowing me to progress at my own pace without feeling overwhelmed.

Gabriel is an excellent piano teacher. He is very professional, always punctual and polite and an inspiring and talented teacher for my daughter who really enjoys her lessons with him. They improvise together and he also teachers her classical pieces. She has made really fast progress over the summer with his help and support.
We’ve had the pleasure of having Gabriel as my daughter Sophia’s piano teacher since 2021 and she has flourished under his guidance.
