About Jake
I'm a DC-based skating instructor with a lifelong passion for urban skating, aggressive blading, roller hockey, and fitness training. Whether you're picking up skates for the first time or looking to level up, I'll help you build real skill and confidence on wheels.
How lessons work:
Your first sessions focus on the fundamentals: stance, balance, and proper movement technique. From there, we build progressively toward speed skating, skating-based fitness training, and, if you're interested, the basics of roller hockey.
About me:
I've been blading for 10+ years and bring a background in sports education, including experience as a camp counselor teaching kids and adults alike. I know how to break skills down so they actually click.

Rollerblading is an exhilarating, fast, and physically demanding activity. Blading is a growing sport in the United States, with a major hub in the D.C. area and on the east coast. I will teach you the basics of skating and how to take proper care of your skates. Lessons will be an hour-long on the weekends.
