About Ellie
I am an enthusiastic and experienced Guitar tutor with 9 years of professional and teaching experience, working primarily with school and college students.
Over the years, I have guided many learners from complete beginners to confident performers who can play independently and creatively. These success stories stand as important milestones in my career. I focus on strengthening the basics, including timing, strumming patterns, chord clarity, scales, and finger exercises.
I also introduce students to different musical styles to broaden their understanding and versatility. My teaching style is disciplined yet friendly, ensuring that students stay motivated while improving consistently. I encourage regular practice, goal setting, and self-evaluation so students take responsibility for their progress.
My aim is to build not only skilled guitar players but also confident individuals who carry determination and creativity into their future.

My Guitar teaching style is student-centred and guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt lessons to suit individual needs. Motivation is built by celebrating progress and helping students stay positive during difficult techniques.
Communication is interactive, allowing students to share their musical interests and challenges openly. I teach chord structures, rhythm timing, scale patterns, and coordination exercises step by step to ensure clarity. Integrity means I focus on building strong fundamentals and encouraging disciplined practice habits.
I correct mistakes gently and guide students with responsibility and honesty. Creativity is developed by encouraging improvisation, exploring various music styles, and creating original melodies. Along with Guitar, I also teach basic theory and ear training skills.
