About Iain
I have been teaching guitar for around 8 years privately as well as in Music Colleges, general colleges, University level in person and online. As well as being an instructor I have international touring experience having played in the cult classic Thrash Metal band Onslaught for 2 years, and I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Musicianship (Guitar) from BIMM Bristol in addition to a Master's MMus Degree in Composition from Bath Spa University.

As opposed to having a blanket method or syllabus that I use I take each student as a unique case. I want to what bands/artists/guitarists they like and what it is they what to achieve through lessons, whether that may be to join a band or pass exams. I then build and structure lessons around each student and move a pace that suits them while keeping them active to make sure they learn as much as they can and most importantly, have fun.
