About Robert
I have always had an innate desire to become a teacher. I feel that it is one of the most noble professions that a person would aspire to undertake. Helping others grow to become self-reliant, confident and proficient in life, I feel, is the highest form of giving.
Maintaining the interest of students when teaching in a urban setting can be a difficult task. I feel that a dedicated teacher can set an example for other teachers, as well as inspire the children they come into contact with.

At York College , CUNY , I instructed Astronomy 100 and Physics 1 courses. I taught
Astronomy for Dr. Jason Morris at Fordham University. I also Recently, taught 2 sections at
the College of Staten Island in Summer 1 and Fall 2020.
The Fall class had 139 students, the summer class had 37. My supervisor was. Dr. Irwin
Robbins. Students also did labs obtaining spectra of Mercury lamps, and examining
blackbody radiant, and software to investigate spectral binary stars, etc.
Students did presentations in recent NASA missions ( Mars 2020 rover, Mars Insight, MARS
reconnaissance orbiter, Voyager 1 and 2 satellites, falcon 9 liftoffs, etc) students also
discussed the colonization of Mars by Space X and Elon Musk.
I have also been employed at Wagner college in 2013, teaching organic chemistry for Dr. Nick
Richardson. I have also been employed at a “full time substitute assistant professor of
chemistry by Dr John Olsen, and Dr. Sebastien Poget.
