I am an engineering student at RMIT university. I've been tutoring since high school. I've scored an overall score of 93% for year 12.

I believe, a successful teacher is one who goes down to the student's level to teach topics and not expect them to understand things the way you do. I make sure my students are comfortable enough to ask me doubts without any hesitation. Tutoring to me is an interactive study between 2 friends.
Firstly, I explain the concepts and make sure that is clear to the students. Then I move on by teaching them how to apply these concepts in various problems. Finally, I test them based on their understanding of concepts and application.
