About Keana Jhen
Hi! I'm Jhen Espina, I'm a full-time UC Riverside Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology Major and graduated High school with a 4.3, highest honors. I do active volunteer work as well and can help/encourage the student in building a well-rounded resumé. In my free-time I like to draw, watch movies, and of course, study biology. I am Filipino-American, and grew up in LA County, my favorite thing to do here is visit the aquariums.

Main Purpose:
The overall goal of each session is to increase your motivation and help you become more confident in what you struggle in.
Will review homework and assist students in their homework if needed. From there, I'll make a detailed overview and plan for the session based on my observations on homework help. If no homework provided, student can let me know the topics that they do not understand or feel as confident. I will teach a tutorial on solving various problems with different answers. After, I'll walk them through the problems, until I feel that they are ready to move on to do the practice problems I provide by themselves. Sessions will very from 1-2 hours, Monday - Friday. I will be available through email if there are any further questions, Monday - Friday I will be available via email and text message.

Keana was able to help my struggling son who is in 8th grade with linear algebra and overall made him a better learner. He went from get Ds and some Cs to As and Bs on his quizzes. Keana allows him to find his way through solving problems instead of spoon-feeding them to him making him a stronger learner.
