About Sia
I have been a tutor on campus for the past two years and have been grading for professors on campus too. I make sure to stay professional and not waste too much time in a lesson on chatting etc. Throughout high school as well I have tutored students younger than me and my age on math concepts they are struggling with so it's been a long time since my first student!

Usually, I first get to know my students. Once I have an idea at where they are in their learning, I start making lesson plans aimed at each student separately. Each student has a different pace of learning so I try to go at that pace. At the end of each lesson I assign homework and at the end of each week, I go over key concepts we learned during that week. I usually teach by first explaining a concept and then going over a couple examples. After this, I allow the student to try and attempt a problem.
