About Navya
I am an experienced Architecture tutor with six years of teaching students from schools, colleges, and working professionals. Over the years, I have successfully guided 150–200 students to achieve their academic and professional goals. My teaching philosophy is built on positivity, empathy, and practical guidance. I believe that learning architecture is not just about understanding theory but also about applying concepts creatively and effectively.
I focus on core subjects like design principles, building materials, urban planning, sustainable architecture, and digital tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. I also emphasise critical thinking, problem-solving, and developing a strong design sense. Lessons are interactive, balancing theory, hands-on projects, and real-world applications. I tailor each session to the student’s level, goals, and interests, making learning engaging and relevant.
I take pride in mentoring students in portfolio building, design projects, and preparing for exams or professional challenges. My aim is to help students gain confidence, explore their creativity, and excel in their architectural journey. Seeing my students succeed in competitions, projects, and careers is the most rewarding part of teaching.

My teaching approach focuses on making architecture both understandable and inspiring for students. I cover core architectural concepts, design principles, building materials, urban planning, sustainable architecture, and digital modelling tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Lessons are designed to balance theory and practical application, helping students see how ideas translate into real-world designs. I emphasise creativity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore multiple solutions for any design challenge.
I adopt a positive and empathetic approach, making each session supportive and motivating. I guide students step by step, breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable parts. Projects, sketches, and model-making are used to make learning interactive and engaging. I focus on helping students develop problem-solving skills while also understanding the aesthetic, functional, and structural aspects of architecture. Assignments and exercises are tailored to strengthen both technical and creative abilities.
I also provide mentorship on design thinking, portfolio building, and preparing for exams or competitions. My aim is to foster confidence, curiosity, and a love for architecture. Each session is adapted to the student’s goals, whether it’s excelling academically, completing assignments, or preparing for a professional career. My approach ensures that students not only learn architecture but also develop skills to apply it creatively and effectively. With guidance, encouragement, and practical insights, I help students reach their full potential and enjoy the process of designing the built environment.
