About Sebastian
I am patient, understanding, literate, and have an extensive vocabulary. As a surgeon, I often had first year medical students shadow me in my office as I greeted patients, interviewed, examined and then explained to them what treatment plan would be best for them, and why. There were invariably questions from the patient and family that I answered w, but rather easy to understand language, avoiding medical jargon.

I was formerly an associate professor in a California medical school and taught students how to better communicate. I’ve also written more than 130 short stories and poems and am currently working on finishing a novel and writing a memoir.
