About Robyn
I trained and worked as a high school science teacher for approximately 20 years (BScDipEd Hons) as well as working for the Dept of Education in their HSC section. I taught HSC chemistry, biology, and physics as well as math from Years 7-10 and HSC Standard Math.
After the birth of my son I spent 5 years working as a primary school teacher, and then went on to lecture science education at ACU in Canberra (PhD from University of Canberra).
Since retirement 18 months ago I have been undertaking tutoring work and have just moved to the Southern Highlands and am looking for more work in this area.
I love helping students increase their test-taking skills, subject knowledge, and general confidence in their abilities.

My sessions are for 1 hour and the first session is always free, to ensure that we are all comfortable that I can be of help.
I can tutor both online and face to face but will ask that the first session is face to face.
I work hard to ensure that my help is directed by the person I am tutoring - you tell me what you need. I will make myself familiar with the syllabus your teachers are working from and do my best to provide additional resources.
In between sessions I am always available to help with quick questions or tips by phone, video, or text (at no extra charge).
