About RBready
I am a skills developer, enhancer/mentor, counselor, advocate and liaison who has worked extensively in other fields as well e.g.,with individuals with various challenges special abilities and disabilities in various capacities and on many levels . I have taught upgrading (GED) and done Pre-Trades instruction to adults............................................... taught math, reading, language and comprehension at the elementary and middle school levels, math, some science at the Gr IX to XII level and done an extensive amount of private tutoring ( mostly math, includes some calculus)....which I myself have thoroughly enjoyed. Students and participants have achieved relatively high degrees of success. Trades people have gone on to become quite successful in their respective fields and GED and other students have in many cases gone on to much higher learning and consequently successful careers.
Some have even returned with gifts and accolades.
Something that I have found to be , on a personal level very rewarding, is witnessing the enhanced motivation that our interactions oftentimes facilitated....and hearing sometimes the comments, e.g., I never thought to look at it that way, this is interesting.....you make math fun!

I have found that the employment of a certain measure of troubleshooting, which identifies areas of need, (some may view as assessments) to be very useful.....developing some structure and additionally a certain systematic approach....whereby topics and subject matter are presented and overall learning occurs through an interesting, progressive and intelligible method. Testing (quizzing) and likewise periodic ongoing practice (through repetition) have proven to be invaluable! However, equally and if not more important to the entire process.... and if I may ask you to guess, oh well.....it`s your input and feedback.
The learning that occurs for myself as your instructor (if we shall call it that) further equips me to facilitate a less stressful, more accommodating and potentially exciting environment for learning and development.
