About Nick
I have years of experience teaching music to a wide range of ages, including at university level (with a focus on early music); I have taught subjects practical, historical, theoretical, musicological, and more; and I have years of practical experience as a singer and pianist. Education-wise, I earned my BA in 2020 from Hamilton College and earned my master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Cambridge in 2021 and 2026.

In our lessons we can look closely at the music itself, study historical sources, and work on exercises related to the study of theory, throughout music history if desired - lessons are focused on discussion, exercises, and discovery rather than lecturing.
