About Gia
I am a dedicated Physics tutor with more than 3 years of experience teaching high school students. I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science and enjoy sharing my passion for physics with learners preparing for IGCSE and A-Level exams. My goal is to make physics understandable and engaging.
My lessons focus on building strong conceptual understanding before moving to complex problem solving. I break down difficult ideas into smaller steps so students can follow the reasoning easily. This approach builds confidence.
I specialise in teaching Mechanics, Electricity, and Waves, which are fundamental topics in high school physics. I guide students through detailed derivations so they understand the mathematical relationships behind physical laws. Learning becomes logical rather than memorised.
Practical experiments and demonstrations help students see how physics works in real life. I also use extensive past paper practice to prepare students for exam questions and marking patterns.
Physics may seem difficult at first, but with the right approach it becomes clear and enjoyable. Together we can overcome challenges and achieve your academic goals.

My teaching methodology focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while preparing students for physics exams. I believe that when students truly understand the principles behind equations, problem solving becomes much easier. Each lesson combines explanation with structured practice.
I cover major physics topics including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, and modern physics introductions. These subjects are reviewed carefully to strengthen both theory and application. A clear understanding makes exam questions easier to approach.
For AP Physics preparation, I use targeted drills, practice tests, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques. Students learn how to analyse complex problems logically and efficiently. Practice builds both speed and accuracy.
Exam strategy is also included in my lessons. Students learn how to read questions carefully, manage time effectively, and structure their answers clearly. These skills make a big difference during tests.
Students with strong curiosity about science and analytical thinking benefit from this structured approach. Lessons help them grow both academically and intellectually.
The aim is to help every student feel confident and fully prepared for exam success.
