About Jess
My name is Jess. I’m 24, a registered nurse with professional experience in children’s emergency care. I’m strongly passionate about learning and helping people. I have a curious mind and so have always loved meeting new people, learning amongst others and exploring more about our world. In school, I was very disciplined in pursuing sporting and academic achievement. My strongest subjects and interests were in biology, physical education, and English. Since leaving school, I have a new outlook on how best knowledge can be acquired and retained. My teaching methods are practical for exams but also require critical thinking and practical application. I make lessons fun, engaging and tailor them to your desired needs. I love learning and believe that the journey of learning should be joyous. It’s a beautiful art that I hope to share with you.

I hold a degree in Nursing Science and have professional experience working in children’s emergency care, as well as in an English-immersion summer camp, where I supported young learners in building confidence through engaging, language-rich activities. I am currently an au pair in Hossegor, France, caring for two young girls while continuing my own journey of learning French. I bring patience, creativity, and a warm, friendly approach to teaching, making lessons enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student. I am available Monday to Sunday with flexible hours. I look forward to helping you develop confidence in your knowledge in a supportive and fun environment!
