About Mercy
My name is Mercy and I am a registered nurse with over 6 years' experience. When I newly qualified as a nurse I quickly realised there were so many gaps in my knowledge. So many ways in which my university did not prepare me for the realities and complexities of the profession. Hence why I’m passionate about teaching the next generation of nurses the key information I wasn’t taught. Giving you real life examples and experiences that will hopefully make the transition to the nursing profession as smooth as possible.

I offer a 15 part programme for student nurses that includes: - History of the nursing profession - A to E assessment - practical skills such as Venepuncture Catheter female insertion - Medication 5 rights common U.K. medications - Different common diseases and the nurse's role - assistance with essay writing Please also bear in mind these are just a list of exemplar topics I would cover if there is a particular subject you would like to focus on and learn don’t hesitate to contact me and I’d let you know if I can help. The aim of these sessions is to also provide you with real life training and preparation for the job as there are many things that universities don’t teach or explain that are an essential part of nursing. That I would cover in these sessions.
