About Debosmita
Greetings of the day! I am Debosmita Biswas, a nineteen-year-old who has recently passed her 12th boards with 98.2% and is occasionally a grammar nazi but perpetually someone who trusts no one but books and Oxford dictionary. As a former student reporter for The Telegraph Young Metro & Times NIE, I believe I have acquired some experience from figuring out the right way to do literature by myself, aggrandizing my writing skills over time and delivering speeches to my fatigued mirror reflection at 3:35 a.m.- the experience which is an amalgamation of stumbling and then finding ten ways to get up, which I infer is sufficient to guide my juniors. Learning is a two-way process and I am open to be corrected if I go wrong somewhere. I wish to fathom the colossal heap of learning in my head into a fruitful and constructive learning process that will help my students grow and in turn help me realize my potential. I'm sure listening to and understanding me is going to be much different from hardly paying attention in the classes you just get in and get out of. I am also looking forward to pursuing Honors in English, the first love of my life, so we both will have a lot to learn beyond a never-ending curriculum and rebuttals.

I intend to guide not only through stories of my achievement but more through the experiences I have garnered from my failures, to ensure my students do not lose the marks I fell short of as a student and to elevate them to the fullest of their potential as an English reader, writer and orator. Through a one-to-one empathic, warm and unconditionally positive interaction, I promise to clarify all queries they ask and also refrain from asking, and to point out their mistakes and guide them to rectification. I shall not leave any stone unturned in even going beyond the curriculum, if it requires, to make it a productive, ebullient and healthy learning!
