About Christine

My passion for science has led me to Augusta University where I'm a research assistant during the week. This hands-on experience has really enhanced my skills and developed my "science brain" to heights where I hope to inspire others. So many answers reside in the field of science and I'm excited to share/teach this information to others of any age.

Teaching Method and Techniques:

As a recent University of South Carolina biology graduate, my tutoring approach is both engaging and comprehensive. I break down complex biology concepts into easy-to-understand segments, using visual aids like diagrams and animations to bring topics to life. I connect these concepts to real-world applications and current research to make lessons more relevant. Through interactive problem-solving and case studies, I encourage critical thinking and active learning. Personalized feedback helps tailor my explanations to each student’s unique needs.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Each lesson starts with a review of previous material and sets clear objectives for the day. I then introduce new concepts with visual and interactive methods, followed by guided practice where we work through examples together. Students then apply what they’ve learned through independent exercises, which we review and discuss at the end of the session.

What Sets Me Apart:

My recent academic background ensures that I offer current and relevant knowledge. My enthusiasm for biology and teaching translates into dynamic lessons that captivate and motivate students. My fresh perspective from recent studies allows me to present material in ways that resonate with today’s learners.

Target Audience:

I provide biology tutoring for all aged students, aiming to enhance their understanding and support their academic goals.
