About Jennifer
I have been helping tutor students since I was in middle school. I have worked individually with students and in group sessions. I have very many students throughout middle school, high school, and my undergraduate school. I have a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, and I have helped students in calculus I, II, and III, deferential equations, precalculus, algebra, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, and combinatorics. Most frequently, I would tutor students twice each week, and they would report doing better on quizzes and tests as a result.

My approach is to work with students on the problems together. I like to see how students tackle problems and help them come up with potential alternative methods. I find it most important for students to understand the reasoning behind mathematical methods rather than memorizing formulas and patterns. Therefore, I will often ask students questions to certify that they are understanding the process and concepts throughout the problem.
