About Scott

With a degree in Electrical Engineering, mathematics is a pre-requisite for all Engineering courses which I took. So math has really become something that I enjoy doing (crazy as that sounds). In my lessons, I like to make sure that the students understand the underlying concepts before introducing them to new ones. Because math is a subject that builds upon itself (you need to take Algebra before your take Calculus), I think it is also important to emphasize to students why they are learning the current topic and how it will help them in the future.

Scott is an excellent teacher. He is very friendly and I feel like I really know him after only a few lessons. He is also very helpful. I’ve done significantly better on tests since I started working with him.
I first met Scott when I was in 9th grade trying to pass Algebra. Working through all of the formulas and operations in this class was very difficult as somebody with ADHD. Scott was able to slow things down and take the time to explain each concept thoroughly. I ended up passing the class, but only because of Scott's help!
