About Robert
I am a motivated and enthusiastic person with a love for Science. I would like to inspire future generations whilst ensuring they are fully supported in these stressful times. Young people have coped extremely well with the events of the past year, and I would love to continue to support them through tutoring. I have always had a strong passion for social justice and my excellent grading during teacher training demonstrates I understand what is required to be an outstanding tutor.

As a recently qualified teacher, I understand the demands of teaching, especially during these testing times. I have several years teaching experience, from when I was completing A Levels up till last year when I completed School Centred Teacher Training. This included one year at a secondary school, where I became a highly skilled and valued member of the science department.
My aim is for all my pupils to make progress, whilst simultaneously enjoying my style of teaching. For me, a good tutoring lesson centres around the learner, where regular progress checks will be made and self assessment will occur. A typical lesson would last around an hour, with a focus on 3 primary objectives. To ensure these objectives are met, after a short period of explanation, pupils will engage in activities to consolidate understanding and identify areas for improvement.
My lessons themselves will be for all of Science at KS3, then Biology at KS4. I can also teach Maths and Music at KS3. I have extensive knowledge of exam boards such as AQA/OCR and understand what it takes to meet the needs of all pupils.
