About DANJOSEPH
My name is Dan, and I recently graduated with my PhD in Combinatorics from the University of Southern California. I am currently in a transitory period and am preparing for my first actuarial exams this November. I am looking to get some extra cash via tutoring in the meantime.

I have tutored a lot in the past while I was in still going through graduate school and even before. My experience encompasses a broad range of levels --- including middle and high school mathematics if necessary for some reason. Some college level courses I am especially keen on tutoring are Calculus, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, and Combinatorics.
I find myself most effective in the area of homework help and review, through which I take the opportunity to give you tips and tricks of the trade on a case by case basis.
I caution that my guidance may not be 100% what you need for your particular class. I am not privy to the specifics of your curriculum, nor to the format and notations expected of their submitted work from your instructor. What I do offer is the broad body of knowledge that I have accumulated over many years in academia and my personal experience as a tutor. I will work to identify the hurdles you are facing, and will try to collaborate with you to overcome said hurdles. I will keep at your pace, not mine.
