About Sophie
My name is Sophie, I am 19 years old and a recent high school graduate. Although I struggled with Mathematics when I was younger, I consciously decided to take it as an advanced course in my final years of school because I plan to study Psychology. I learned that avoiding a subject you find difficult does not make it easier — facing it does.
Through this experience, I not only improved my grades significantly, but also developed effective strategies for approaching challenging tasks step by step. I understand what it feels like to lack motivation or confidence in a subject, and that is exactly why I teach with patience, structure and encouragement.
My goal is to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and realize that improvement is always possible with the right mindset and support.

I am a recent high school graduate with four years of experience tutoring Mathematics. I completed my Mathematics A-level with almost perfect results and have developed a strong understanding of how to explain complex topics in a simple and structured way.
I offer lessons for students up to Year 10 and adapt each session individually to the student’s needs and school curriculum. My lessons usually last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on preference. Before important exams, I am happy to schedule longer sessions and provide intensive revision support.
I am flexible, patient and focused on building both confidence and strong mathematical foundations :)
