About Holly
I am a 23 y/o black female data scientist looking to inspire young people who look like me to excel in STEM. I am a recent graduate from Cornell University, where I majored in Operations Research and Information Engineering. During my time at Cornell, I was the only black woman in my major and I want to do my part in making sure that black women know there is space for them to pursue engineering at prestigious universities.

I have experience tutoring students of all ages. I am passionate about math (and anything math related) and want to encourage more young people who look like me to pursue career paths in STEM.
I want to start each lesson with a general and informative overview of the topic of concern and then go over a few examples. After, I'd like to focus on homework problems or any assigned schoolwork. I also want to set aside time to go over missed test questions or any lingering questions regarding the topic. Questions about math topics other than the lesson topic can be addressed at the end.
