About Silvana
Hello, My name is Silvana. I currently live in Peru but I am from Colorado .
I have a degree in elementary education with a minor in CLD. My philosophy in teaching is to treat students as individuals. I do this by implementing differentiation in every lesson I teach. Every student works and learns differently. The teacher should be able to meet the needs of every student. I am bilingual and speak both Spanish and English. I have also worked with students of all ages from kindergarten to 6th grade. During my graduate residency, I was able to create my own lessons and implement them in the classroom. I was able to use different differentiation methods. As a teacher, I hope to engage with the students and help them stay motivated in their learning.

My lessons will be lessons that are created to fit the need of the student. Differentiation is critical and every student learns at a different pace. A typical lesson plan will have objectives that students need to meet. It will include speaking, listening, reading, and writing. objectives. This can consist of reading a book or writing in a graphic organizer. The lessons are specifically for elementary school-aged children.
