About Jai
I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol, inspiring confidence in learning maths and economics for all A-level and under students. Very relatable learning techniques as I have recently been through my studies so I know what it takes to grasp concepts.
Gained upper second class honors in economics. An A in A-level maths and Economics and an A*in GCSE maths.
I have worked consistently with children aged between 4-18 for the past two years and thus have the experience and capability to work with all ages in a confident and respectable manner. I am a very determined and passionate individual when it comes to helping others.

Lessons will usually begin with a brief overview of what we are going to learn throughout the lesson and why it is necessary for the student to understand. We will then go through the objectives for the lesson and what goals the student and I are looking to achieve by the end of the lesson.
I would then go through the theory behind the topic of choice and with that answer, any queries the student has with the theory and how we get to the answer when confronted with an example question. I will break down the theory into its simplest form to allow the student to easily understand how the theory works in regard to answering questions.
Then comes the students' chance to answer questions by his or herself and I will be there to correct any mistakes or answer any questions, hopefully, by then the student has grasped the concept and if not I will help them throughout answering the questions to understand the process.
Questions will progressively get tougher which will lead to a greater understanding of the topic if the student is confident.
I put great emphasis on the student practicing questions as I believe this is the best way of learning through trial and error. I also put great emphasis on allowing the student to feel as comfortable to ask as many questions as they need to grasp the theory behind the topic. Finally, I'm a very strong advocate of the student to be able to fully understand the theory rather than just be able to answer questions and thus I will guarantee a strong understanding of the topic being taught.
