About Ope
With over two years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Queen's University and have worked with a wide range of students. I value creating strong connections and a comfortable learning environment, so students feel supported every step of the way. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, flexible, and highly personalized. I design each lesson based on the student’s learning style, pace, and academic goals. I provide one-on-one virtual tutoring for students in grades 6–12, including those with IEPs and diverse learning needs. My sessions focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, using guided practice and targeted examples. I also prioritize creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
