Hi there! My name is Janel, and I'm excited to share my passion for learning with you. As a homeschooling parent, I've become very familiar with different learning strategies, and I believe that the best way to learn is through experiences. That's why I take a world schooling approach to teaching my 10 year old.
I was born in Japan and now reside in the United States where I have completed my university studies. I studied the Russian language and culture. I also studied other topics such as anthropology, chemistry, math, and biomedical engineering which is what I earned my masters degree in.
I envision sessions where we are practicing having conversations in English so we can get you more comfortable speaking and I can cover any questions you might have regarding the language. I also know that speaking with someone is the best way to overcome any fears or barriers that might be holding you back from truly grasping a language.
