About Kyu James
Hello! I’m James Lee, a Korean-American who has lived in the United States for over 30 years.
I am fluent in both Korean and English and have extensive experience working and communicating with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
Having lived between Korean and American cultures for most of my life, I understand that learning a language is about more than vocabulary and grammar. It is also about understanding people, culture, and how we communicate in real-life situations.
I enjoy helping students develop practical language skills and confidence they can actually use in everyday life, travel, work, and relationships.
Whether you want to learn Korean, improve your English, or better understand Korean and American culture, I would be happy to help you reach your goals.

I teach Korean to English speakers who want to learn everyday conversation, pronunciation, Korean culture, travel Korean, and useful expressions. I also help Korean speakers improve their practical English for everyday life, work, travel, and communication in the United States.
As a Korean-American who has lived in the United States for over 30 years, I understand both cultures and can explain not only what to say, but also how and why people communicate differently.
Each lesson is customized to your level, goals, and interests. My goal is to help you speak naturally, build confidence, and use what you learn in real life.
