About Keith
I've had an instrument in my hand my whole life. I performed in a Jazz Band in High School where I alternated between saxophone and guitar. I joined the military after High School and continued playing guitar even when overseas. After three tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, I picked up percussion as a therapy option, and haven't put down my sticks since. I feel that every human being should own an acoustic guitar, because it is a staple of any campfire, barracks/dorm room, or Unplugged session. Currently, I tutor local students and I can speak B2 level Spanish.

This is for anyone of any age that wants to have some fun and learn any instrument. (Guitar, in this case)
My favorite part of teaching is the ability to stray away from conventional sight reading and repetitive fretboard work from time to time. I believe that each lesson should feel like a jam session that you can walk away from with a smile, and a little more knowledge.
The goal for me is to help you meet your goal. I understand that anything technical that you will learn from me can be learned from YouTube or a book, but what you can't learn from those outlets is the wisdom to relax and understand the feeling, groove, and functions during a successful jam session. There are several bad habits to avoid, so my sessions are comprised of the following that will help you enjoy your journey better:
