About Sean
Hello, my name is Coach Sean.
Martial arts has given me far more than skills—it gave me a lifelong path I could follow with purpose. It taught me to show up better every single session, to release what was holding me back, and to keep growing long after the belts stopped mattering.
My early mentors took a shy kid with low confidence and limited skills and built him up, one piece at a time. They didn’t just teach me techniques—they changed who I was. That experience is exactly why I chose to become a career coach. My greatest honor is paying it forward and giving others the same gift my coaches gave to me: belief in themselves, one session at a time.

For the past 30 years, my life has revolved around martial arts training and coaching. Rooted in Tae Kwon Do, my journey began teaching children the fundamentals of self-defense, self-efficacy, humility, and respect. Over the years, those same core principles have guided me as I’ve expanded to work with teens, adults, beginners, and competitive athletes alike.
I hold black belts in Tae Kwon Do and sport kickboxing, along with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. I’ve had the privilege of training at Sasiprapa and Superbon Muay Thai in Thailand during two extended stays, as well as training alongside top local talent here in the Tri-Cities. Competing across these disciplines has given me firsthand experience with what actually works under pressure — and that translates into proven, results-driven training for my clients.
