About Fornard
I am a passionate singing tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, having worked with 150–200 students of all levels. I specialise in personalised lessons, adapting exercises and repertoire to each student’s goals, interests, and vocal abilities. My lessons cover breath control, pitch, phrasing, tone, vocal agility, and expressive performance, while also including music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence. I encourage students to explore multiple styles, improvise, and develop a distinctive, confident voice.
I provide guidance on auditions, competitions, recordings, and stage performance, helping students gain both skill and confidence. Each lesson is interactive, engaging, and designed to make learning enjoyable, motivating, and transformative. My goal is to empower students to discover their unique voice, sing with confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love for music.

Singing is a journey of self-discovery and musical growth, and my teaching methodology is designed to support that journey. It is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), which guide every lesson and ensure students grow both technically and artistically. I focus on motivation by inspiring confidence, setting clear goals, and celebrating small victories to maintain engagement. Through communication, I create an open, interactive space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and receiving constructive feedback to enhance tone, pitch, and musicality. Integrity is central to my approach, providing honest evaluations, emphasising disciplined practice, and fostering trust and respect.
Creativity encourages students to experiment with different singing styles, explore melodies, and develop their unique voice through improvisation and performance exercises. I also teach complementary subjects such as music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to ensure a comprehensive musical education. Lessons are customised to each student’s skill level, goals, and interests, combining structured exercises, guided practice, and interactive activities. This methodology helps students improve vocal technique, expression, stage presence, and confidence, while enjoying the creative process. By applying MCIC principles, I aim to nurture each student’s voice, inspire artistic growth, and cultivate a lifelong love of singing.
