About Jianchu
I’m an Electrical and Renewable Power Engineering student at QUT with experience supporting university students through peer learning and academic support. I especially enjoy helping students who are new to university and may be finding the transition challenging. I know that first-year math, physics, and engineering subjects can feel overwhelming at first, so I aim to explain concepts in a friendly, straightforward way without assuming you already understand everything. My goal is to help you build confidence, understand the fundamentals, and become comfortable solving problems independently.

My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than simply memorising formulas. I break difficult maths, physics and engineering problems into clear steps and explain the reasoning behind each step. I can also work through practice questions with you, identify where you are getting stuck, and adapt the lesson to your current level. As an engineering student with experience supporting other university students, I understand how confusing technical subjects can initially feel and aim to make them much easier to approach independently.
