About Ellery
Throughout high school I played three rep sports and played various school teams, I worked part time and had other responsibilities at home as well. As someone who struggled to learn “quickly,” hearing the lesson once in class did not prepare me enough to rush through my homework at the end of busy days. I had to learn what my brain needed to understand better, which isn’t always the same as your classmates.
I applied and grew my study techniques during university as I worked full time alongside my full-time science-based course load, and am very passionate about equity-based learning!

I had a hard time learning in large groups in class during my time in both high school and university, and understand how frustrating it can be as a student athlete trying to find time to not only study, but go over lesson material as well.
I believe every student learns differently, and I enjoy teaching students the skills they need to succeed in their own ways, and learn how their brain learns best!
