About NATALIE
I have a PGCE and have taught in mainstream secondary schools for over 15 years. I have experience in teaching SEN students and reluctant learners. I use everyday experiences to assist them to understand the importance of Maths. I create a friendly environment and allow the student to take their time in problem-solving. Together I help the students see the fun in Maths and how it can be one of the most enjoyable subjects to learn.

Over the last year I have gained valuable experience teaching Foundation level GCSE Maths to SEN and vulnerable students. I truly believe that all students can excel in Maths. When they feel incapable, it is because they do not know "how" to do Maths, rather than they "cannot" do Maths. I make Maths learning fun and use everyday examples to make the Maths visual. I take things slowly and allow students to regain confidence in their Maths ability.

I have a study at home which is ideal for teaching as I have all the resources here. If I need to travel to a student's home, I charge extra for travel costs, depending on where the student lives.
