About Aleka
I’m a Greek-born SEN teacher living in Bristol, where I moved to study over a decade ago — and never left because I fell in love with the city and its people. I’ve always believed that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. Working with children with special educational needs has taught me that progress looks different for everyone — and that’s something to be celebrated, not fixed. I chose this path because I genuinely enjoy finding creative ways to connect, support, and help each child thrive at their own pace. Nothing compares to the joy of seeing a child grow in confidence and realise their potential.
