About Alice
Hello, my name is Alice and I presently live in the UK. I love to travel and to learn about different cultures. I lived in Germany for over 20 years and speak fluent German, but I can also speak a little Italian and Farsi ( I love cooking Iranian food!)
I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics from literature to politics, and have varied interests that include upcycling, going to the gym and dog-walking. With a positive, can-do attitude, I am passionate and dedicated in supporting students for a wide range of English courses; being able to adapt the learning so as it is tailored for the individual, engaging and empowering. I also have extensive experience and training of working with students that have additional learning needs.
I have recently re-trained as a secondary school teacher of English, so my skills and knowledge are fully up to date. However, my teaching experience covers a wealth of experience; from teaching Law to International students at German University, Business English for German companies, Conversational English for adults and young people, and more recently, supporting International students in academic studies for the University of London.
I am confident in preparing students for a range of exams, including OET and IELTS and, as a qualified English teacher, have worked with a number of exam boards and enjoy teaching up to degree level in both English and Law.
