Qualified teacher with many years' experience of teaching Spanish and French languages at school and giving private tuition to children and adults.

Sue provided one-to-one GCSE Spanish tutoring for my son, resulting in a remarkable improvement not only in his academic performance but also in his attitude and approach.
He was reluctant to try at first, and after one lesson he looked forward to going again voluntarily - he wanted to improve.
Sue has a calm, kind, patient and compassionate approach and knew exactly what approach to use to get the best out of him and improve his confidence as well as performance.
In his final exams he scored over 95% across his papers, this would not have been possible without Sue's teaching and guidance. He has now chosen to go on to Spanish A Level as long as Sue would continue to tutor him. Thank you

Sue tutored our daughter in GCSE Spanish. She really helped build her knowledge and confidence. We were really pleased when our daughter exceeded her predicted GCSE Spanish grade. Thanks so much Sue for all your help and encouragement.

Sue has been teaching my husband and myself for a while. We haven’t learnt a language since leaving school which was a long, long time ago. Sue is very patient and inspirational. She makes us feel comfortable and relaxed about our learning journey. Her lessons are well planned and appropriate and as a retired teacher I can recognise her considerable teaching ability.

I booked regular tutoring lessons with Sue to try and learn the language as an adult. Sue was absolutely fantastic! She has created a welcoming but professional environment and was very accommodating when I had to bring my baby along to a lesson on occasion. Sue helped me understand the basics of the language that you just can’t grasp via language learning apps and helped me to build a solid foundation to support my learning going forward. I will not hesitate to use Sue again in the future.

Sue was a wonderful help with my children’s GCSE Spanish. She made them feel at ease and comfortable even when they were unsure. They looked forward to their lessons and they would always leave on a positive note. Without Sue’s guidance and well structured approach, they would not have achieved the outstanding results they received. I would highly recommend Sue for anybody who requires help with Spanish.

Sue has tutored me for both GCSE and A-level Spanish and has been amazing for both, helping me achieve a 9 and an A* in them respectively. She is warm and really listens to any concerns/problems you are facing in the language, anything I didn't understand she helped clarify in a clear and effective way, which is incredibly important for learning a language. Thank you Sue

Sue tutored me weekly for GCSE Spanish. Due to her professionalism and evident experience shown through her lessons, I was able to achieve a grade 9. Not only is she professional, but she is also a very nice and friendly tutor to work with. For this reason, and also due to the practice I got in areas I was not so confident in beforehand, such as speaking, I would highly recommend Sue to anyone seeking a Spanish tutor.

Sue is a brilliant tutor! Her teaching approach is both conscientious and caring. I find her teaching method helps me understand the language in the simplest way and with confidence!

Sue tutored my son for his Spanish Gces. He was predicted a grade 4 , Sue helped him achieve an 8! The result speaks for itself. My son can be quite lazy , but Sue with patience & perseverance helped him obtain his potential.

Sue is an absolutely amazing tutor. Both my children used her and got top grades. Very professional and great with her students. Sue builds confidence so that her students enjoy the subject and achieve the results.
