About Amanda
I am a QTS qualified teacher with a strong academic background in Maths and Physics, offering supportive KS3 and GCSE maths tutoring. I currently work in school settings and have experience supporting pupils with different learning needs, including SEND, low confidence and anxiety around learning.
My tutoring style is calm, patient and structured. I break topics down into clear steps, focus on misconceptions, and help pupils understand the reasoning behind methods rather than simply memorising rules. I currently tutor a Year 10 student in GCSE maths and particularly enjoy helping pupils grow in confidence and independence.
