About Joseph
I am a qualified teacher with eight years' experience as a classroom teacher. I have always excelled academically: as a student I was in the top 7 students in the country for Physics (UK International Physics Olympiad team reserve) and in the top 120 in the country for Maths (I qualified for BMO2). After securing my first class master's in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge University, I spent eight years as a secondary school teacher before switching to online tutoring. Combining a deep understanding of my subject with years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping students grasp and apply concepts for themselves, enabling them not only to excel in exams, but to master and enjoy the subject as well.

I offer bespoke online tuition tailored to the needs of my students, focused on developing understanding and intuition, allowing students not only to achieve fantastic exam results, but to enjoy their subject as well. Typical lessons involve a mixture of exam questions coaching combined with interactive teaching on areas students find difficult, however I am happy to adjust my approach to students’ needs.
