About Solenn
Hi!
My name is Solenn and I speak French and English fluently. I speak English with a British accent from the south of England. I'm currently living in France after working in the UK for several years. I mainly work with teenagers and adults wishing to improve their English. I mostly teach beginner and intermediate levels.
I am a qualified English teacher (CELTA). I used to work with groups of foreigners such as refugees and summer school students in England.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in a variety of international fields (international trade, tourism, events, project management).
My qualifications :
2016 - Master in Multilingual and International Project Management (English, Spanish, Chinese)
2021 - Train the Trainer qualification (adult training)
2022 - CELTA: Teaching English as a foreign language, by the University of Cambridge
When I'm not teaching, I like creating (painting, drawing, sewing, embroidery, etc). I go to see shows and musicals whenever possible. I also like to read, walk and discover new places.

Every lesson will be designed based on your needs. We will discuss your goals during the first session, and work together to achieve them. I try to use a wide range of activities and materials.
I offer:
- General English lessons: reading, listening, writing and speaking
- Conversation lessons
- Pronunciation lessons
- I can also help you practice before a meeting or a call
All classes are online.
I usually teach the whole lesson in English, but I can also use French and a bit of Spanish for those who need extra support in their mother tongue.
Levels offered at the moment: A1, A2, B1, B2 (beginner and intermediate)

Solenn fait preuve de patience et de calme, elle sait s'adapter à ses élèves. Ses techniques d'apprentissage sont pertinentes et agréable.
Solenn is a fabulous teacher - she taught at the same language school as me in Reading, England in summer 2022. Her English is of native standard with perfect pronunciation. She comes up with innovative ways to teach and makes lessons fun and understands the level of all of her students.
