About Zoe
I have 4 years’ experience as a qualified teacher (PGCE) and 6 years’ experience in education. I am based in Horsham, West Sussex.
I offer small group tuition, online, for Key Stage Two students. I specialise in Literacy and preparing students for their all-important Literacy SATs exams that are in the May of Year 6. My sessions are based on the National Curriculum and I also use Alpha to Omega program to inform my planning.

I offer small group tuition, online, for Key Stage Two students. I specialise in Literacy and preparing students for their all-important Literacy SAT's exams that are in the May of Year 6. My sessions are based on the National Curriculum and I also use Alpha to Omega program to inform my planning.
My lessons are online and in small groups of no more that 1:5 and hosted on Google Meet. I use TripticoPlus to create my lessons as this is visually fun for children creating a more interactive lesson experience! My lessons typically look like the below:
1. Recap/Starter/Game from last lessons learning
2. Introduction/learning objective and game.
3. Listening to the new rule/grammar/punctuation technique.
4. Looking at a new set of words.
5. Discussing the words/placing these in sentences
6. Sentence scramble and missing words games – This helps support comprehension skills and word order/sentence construction
7. Placing these words into simple sentences – dictation. Usually around 3-5 sentences only.
8. Practice Question(s)
9. Re-cap on our learning and a game.
Lessons are 45 minutes in length and are ideal for Year 5 and 6 pupils.

Details
Free taster lesson and consultation available on request. The taster lesson is 20 minutes and consultation 10 minutes. I always advise a taster lesson first before block booking.
I offer a £22 per session rate, you can either pay as you go or block book. Block booking is £110 for 6 weeks which means you get 1 session FREE!
