Hello! I’m Abi, a passionate and dedicated tutor in Mathematics, Physics, and Science. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My goal as a tutor is to help learners not only achieve better grades but also truly understand and enjoy what they’re studying. Teaching has always been something I value deeply; it’s incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and start believing in their own abilities. Hello! I’m Abi, a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong background in mathematics, physics, and general science. My goal is to make complex concepts clear, engaging, and relatable — helping each student build confidence and develop genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation. Teaching Methodology: I focus on understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring my approach accordingly. I combine clear explanations with real-world examples and interactive problem-solving. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and apply concepts through guided practice. For exam preparation, I emphasise past-paper techniques, time management, and understanding examiners’ expectations. Lesson Structure and Duration: A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adjust the duration to suit the student’s needs. Each session begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by focused teaching and interactive exercises. We finish with a short recap and a few practice questions or tasks to consolidate learning. Qualifications and Experience: I hold advanced academic experience in engineering and a PGCERT in Teaching and Learning. I have taught and mentored students across different levels — from high school to university — helping them improve grades, problem-solving skills, and scientific understanding. Who I Teach: My lessons are suitable for: Secondary school students (GCSE / A-level) seeking to strengthen their understanding in maths and science.
